Silent Piece of Nothing

Most people assume that the hardest part of breaking up is, well, breaking up.

Most of the people that don't agree with that statement would say that the hardest part of breaking up is the period of time after breaking. When you suddenly realize how empty everything feels without that person.

I don't know about you, but i think that the hardest part of breaking up is the time period before you break up. When it's all going downhill.
I feel this because you know it's happening. You know it's falling, breaking, dying, but you don't know if you can bring it back to life.

No one wants to talk about the dying relationship that lies in a pile on the floor, but everyone can see it.
Everyone who knows how beautiful and uncrumpled it once was can see how terrible it is now, even if no one talks about it.

It's a silent piece of nothing, sitting there, waiting to be either thrown out the window, or picked up and fixed.

But no one wants to make the decision of what to do with it.
And most of the time, no one does anything until the gods of fate decide for you, and throw it out the window themselves.

But the worst thing is, all of it goes without being said.
It's gone, dead, done, and forgotten before you can even save it.
