well, im sitting cross legged on the couch in the living room of the hotel room.
Jessica (my WONDERFUL assistant) is putting clothes away in the dresser in the bed room.
my sister is sitting at the other end, on the phone with some room service person.
"Hi, can i have a hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles?"
"What? You don't have sprinkles? Why not?"
"Oh yeah, that is weird."
"Well what other toppings do you have?"
This conversation has been going on for about 3 minutes.
She's 10. She's hilarious.
My mom is showering, and told Emily to order dinner for us all, since we didn't each much on the plane.
I had a good time being home. Em enjoyed it a lot too.
So now, i have this weekend to party it up Houston style with my little sister, and then i get to see Nick on saturday. I think.
To be honest, i never know what im doing. unless im in LA and filming, because thats the same everyday.
But when im somewhere i normally am not, and doing something i normally am not, i don't have a clue.
Let's just say without Jess, i wouldnt make it.
"Uh, yeah the little round sprinkles are okay i guess."
Ah. Family. Theres something about the familiarity and comfort of people you know and love.
"YEAH! I AM IN TOWN FOR THE RODEO. MY SISTER'S BOYFRIEND AND HER BEST FRIENDS ARE PLAYING SUNDAY."
Did i mention Emily totally milks this whole "my sister's boyfriend" thing?
"Yeah i get to go see it. DUH. She's my sister."
I really want to know who is on the other end.
Some cop show is playing on the TV, and theres a giant chase scene happening.
"Alright. Thanks."
SHE'S GETTING OFF.
Alright, it's cool it was "Stacy. She checked for sprinkles for me!"
I love hotel staff.
they're always so nice.
On that note, i'm gonna go watch some mad cop show, unpack, eat dinner, shower, sleep, and party.
life is good<3
