time flies when you grow up too fast.

Today was a wonderful day.
Some good friends slept over last night, and we had a crazy time.
We went to the movies, and then got late night chinese food.

After eating lots of ice cream, we went and jumped on my trampoline until 2 in the morning. Sorry neighbors, but we all really needed a girls night.

In the beginning of the night, we made a pact.
On the way to the movie, we agreed to turn off our cellphones, and laptops and focus on what was important. Our friends.

It was a nice break, no texts from friends in CT, no texts from the boyfriend, no twitter updates, or facebook notifications.

We focused on what was happening around us, and what we wanted to talk about.
We didn't care what other people were doing, we wanted to be wrapped up in each other.

We sat on the trampoline talking about life, love, and work.
But then we realized : WHY THE HECK WERE WE TALKING ABOUT WORK?

We pushed the thoughts of work, filming, touring, recording and meetings out of our head and tried to be normal teenagers.

We all ranged from the ages 15-17, and we all agreed that we would pretend we were in HIGH SCHOOL.

We told stories about our picture perfect prom, and our typical classes.

too bad thats not real life.

we talked about the future.
getting married, having kids.

we finally went inside at 2, and watched crazy youtube videos of ghosts.
when we finally convinced ourselves that there was nothing in my closet, under my bed, behind my tv, or in my bathroom, we all crowded into my bed. All of us. One bed.

We awoke early, and went to breakfast, then hit the mall.
i got some awesome boots.

we agreed on one thing this weekend.

each and every girl at that sleepover was forced to grow up too fast.
we were working, at the age of 17, 16, or even 15.
we were teenagers, essentially, living an adult life.
