being in Santa Monica today was wonderful. I was with two of my favorite people, Lynne, and Nick. It was awesome. Lynne and I watched the chat and ate this awesome chicken salad. But the car of people ended up driving away without us, because we were eating salad on the boardwalk...that's when my boyfriend noticed we were missing. feel the love? cause i do.
So what did we do? Buy bathing suits and go swimming, in 50 degree water. Might as well live it up, right?
After doing that all day, we're now sitting in a cafe. They have this awesome tea, and we're eating cranberry scones (lynne's favorite).
We were watching the news, when lynne's mouth dropped open and she looked at me with huge eyes. "I HAVE AN IDEA!" she screamed. then it hit us. I have a credit card, packed with money. Why don't we just rent a hotel room, and stay over, then go home tomorrow?
DUH. that's brilliant. Props to you Lynney.
So for now, we're going to finish this up, and then go find a hotel.
Living on the moment reminds me a lot of last summer.
Last summer was the best.
Summer 2008 was better.
I'll have to tell you about Summer 2008 another time.
Living on the moment = AWESOME.
